Hi! I’m Julia Lathrop. Welcome to my world.
I am eleven years old, soon to be twelve. I love to write. My three dogs keep me busy, too. I enjoy stingrays, singing, and ballet lessons. Video games, reading, and baking occupy me when I have time. I try to stay busy. I have completed Jr. Lifeguard training and have studied writing at two Young Authors Camps at Texas A&M University Corpus Christi (TAMU-CC). I am a creative writer that loves to imagine new worlds and new stories, sharing my work with supportive family, friends, and teachers. I have always loved mysteries, and have prepared previously for detective work, properly getting myself ready to write a mystery story.
I hope you enjoy reading my first book as much as I’ve enjoyed writing it.
The Treasure of Richard Julius Maximus III
Two preteen girls work to solve the case of the stolen treasure from years ago. After recently moving to a new town, Ella discovers a room in her new home with a mysterious secret. With her new friend, they must overcome dangerous problems, some of which her friend accidentally causes. Exploring clues around town, they encounter a desperate fiend, as they try to solve the mystery.
